I'd recommend Johnsons Volkswagen Warrington to a friend because I have used this dealership for many years on purchasing and servicing of my vehicle.
My experience at Johnsons Volkswagen Warrington could have been better by just getting something right! I certainly won’t be buying another vehicle from Johnsons and to be honest; they’ve ruined my opinion on Volkswagen as a brand (and I’ve been a life long VW owner).
Booked in wrong! Wrong faults captured. The delay being seen was also a joke.
Warranty work that you just can’t take ownership of. “I have to warn you of £££” - other brands just take responsibility!
You don’t fix the larger of the two issues my vehicle has. But let me guess . . . You’ll be more than happy to take a look once my warranty expires. I gave you photographic evidence for a common issue plastered all over the internet, but yet you were puzzled?! Your advisor now wants me to stop what I’m doing and bring the vehicle in the next time the issue occurs. Yeah, because someone will definitely see me.
You gave me a courtesy vehicle with no fuel in it what so ever. I complained and you said it had ample fuel. The “30 miles remaining” dropped the second I drove the vehicle forward. The customer next to me got a vehicle with 1/3 of a tank!
And to top it all off; you broke my gear selector while replacing the start button. I had to go back into the dealership to tell you that my gear selector no longer illuminated. Your technician tried to say they “only light up at night” . . . He clearly wanted to go home. After complaining, it was sorted within minutes. Not even close to good enough. Stunned that a main dealer acts with less integrity than a back street dealer.
All in all - awful. Bar the advisor being friendly enough, you couldn’t have really done much worse.
I had a great experience at Johnsons Volkswagen Warrington because all the staff were very friendly and informative. and some of the cars are beautiful in the garage lol
